Hello and welcome to our classroom wiki page. Notice that the name of our wiki is the Hawaiian word 'Kawowo.' Just like a kawowo is a seedling that requires nurturing to make it grow, we will be taking your ideas and essays and helping them grow by helping each another. This wiki is designed to be a space carved out on the web for us to collaborate about the literature of the course as a community of learners. Using this wiki will provide you with a real-time, richer, learning environment. You will mostly use this space for group work. Believe me, after doing group work in the classroom and through the traditional Blackboard features, this is the way to go. You will be able to collaborate and contribute to your group's work at any time of the night or day.
One of the best things that this wiki allows me to do is to see who contributed to what page on what day at what time. I can even compare the page you edited to its previous version. So, gone are the days where group members slip under the radar. If someone is not contributing, I will know. But, I know that we will not have any problems with that because you are all hard working, dedicated students. The pages students have created here in the past have been some of the most interesting collaborations I have seen. Have fun with it and enoy the process.
